Unearthed: Digitizing the MAH General Photograph Collection
Project Timeframe: 2024–2027
Unearthed is an initiative to digitize, update documentation for, and make available online a collection of photographs depicting figures, businesses, industries, neighborhoods, events, and ethnographic communities in Santa Cruz County from the mid-1800s to the late 1900s.
We are still seeking funding support for this project.

CommonGround is a biennial festival of place-inspired, outdoor work hosted in locations throughout Santa Cruz County. Focused on temporary and performative public art projects in rural, urban, and architectural space, the 4-day event features site-responsive installations and interventions across the area’s natural and built environments, connecting people, stories, and landscapes.
