Hear from local historians and community members in this new webinar series celebrating the upcoming exhibition, Queer Santa Cruz.

In this week's webinar join the founding members of Pajaro Valley Pride as they share with us how the organization was born. Organizers will share how Watsonville’s Main Street was officially closed down to celebrate the diversity of our vibrant community in 2016. The event was blessed by the White Hawk Dancers and had various performers including current Ru Paul’s Drag Race contestant Rock M. Sakura!

Webinar Series Info

In April the MAH was supposed to open a Santa Cruz Queer History Exhibit created in partnership with the Diversity Center. However, due to the shelter in place orders, the MAH will unveil the exhibit online first. To help you “view” the different parts of the exhibit, learn more about our queer history and keep the MAH & Diversity Center working together while working from home the two organizations are initiating a series of webinars about the different stories related to Santa Cruz Queer History.

Stay tuned for more webinars, behind the scene tours, and the virtual exhibit coming soon.
