MLK Day of Service

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr, the MAH is hosting our annual Day of Service at Evergreen Cemetery on January 17th from 10am-2pm. 261 Evergreen Street Santa Cruz 95060

Join us, and others across the country, pay tribute to MLK Jr’s legacy of service and integrity by volunteering in local communities.

The Evergreen committee has been doing MLK service day for several years now, and we intend to do so this coming MLK day. What would be great is if the MAH could do some advertising promoting the event.Maybe in the Coastlines section of the Sentinel and other online volunteer sites. Gary, myself and Kate would be there on the day to coordinate volunteers and hand out tools and gloves. Volunteers can show up at the cemetery at 10am and work until noon. We will be there at 9:30am to get everything prepared.
