Join the weekly Diversity Center webinar series celebrating the recently launched virtual exhibition, Queer Santa Cruz.

This week, get to know the history of Lou Harrison, a queer music composer who amplified Santa Cruz culture around the country. Living in Santa Cruz with his life partner Bill Colvig, Lou was a part of our Santa Cruz LGBTQ+ community for over 40 years. He is noted as being the first performer at the Santa Cruz's Gay Pride parade in 1975.

Hear from those who interacted with Lou and Bill during their years living in the Santa Cruz area. Read more about Lou Harrison here.
