As the leading institution of this county-wide collaboration, The Museum of Art & History @ the McPherson Center provides a forum which supports and encourages the development, exchange, and presentation of creative ideas that are manifested in assemblage, collage and construction.

“Our goal is to create a superb cultural narrative that explores a new discourse of the creative process through this collaborative effort” -Susan Hillhouse, Curator of Exhibitions and Collections.

The Museum will present works of artists from the United States and California, with the majority from the San Francisco Bay Area and Monterey Bay Area. The goal of Assemblage + Collage + Construction is to heighten the awareness of the rich tradition of these art forms through a full spectrum exhibition of extraordinary scope and quality.
