Join us to celebrate the opening of Contemporary Indigenous Voices of California’s South Coast Range: Enduring Relationships with the Land. The event will include a short film screening, discussion panel, and cultural demonstrations.
Honored guest speakers include photographer and documentarian Kirti Bassendine, Valentin Lopez (Tribal Chair, Amah Mutsun Tribal Band), Gregg Castro (Salinan Tribe) Ann Marie Sayers (Tribal Chair, Indian Canyon Mutsun Band of Costanoan People), Kanyon “CoyoteWoman” Sayers-Roods (Cultural Representative and Native Monitor, Indian Canyon Mutsun Band of Costanoan People) Tom Little Bear Nason (Chair and President, Esselen Tribe of Monterey County) and Patti Dunton (Salinan Tribe).
